Plein Air Easels & Tripods

The lightest, most stable tripod available from SunEden Artists Gear, the Standard en Plein Air Painting.  Ball head construction makes for exceptional stability of attachments.  Only 3.4 lbs, folding height of 19", vertical painting height of 76".  May attach the SunEden Artists Shelf-400 (01-40) and/or the SunEden Traveling Adapter (02-04) or a Pochade Box.

Traveling Easel-200.  Black telescoping, 7/8” tubular aluminum legs, with quick-release leg locks, lock at any height. Has non-skid rubber feet or if painting outside anchor the easel against wind with leg rings and stakes. Canvas holder adjusts from the smallest canvas to one up to 30” holding the canvas securely against the wind.  Rear Mount Accessory Box (04-13) recommended for stability of the easel. Folded: 22” long, Open: 58” high. Weighs 1-1/2 lbs.

 

 

The quick-release mounting platform on this tripod screws into the SunEden Tilting Adapter for Tripod enabling the artist to quickly separate the adapter and tripod for ease of carrying in a suitcase, the StudioPac or Tote Bag.  Additional Options of Traveling Adapter (02-04) and Artists Shelf (01-20).

Heavy-Duty Plein Air Tripod. A quick-release mountingplatform screws into the Traveling Adapter (02-04) enabling the artist to quickly separate the adapter and tripod for ease of carrying in a suitcase, StudioPac (13-01) or Rolling Art BackPac (13-06). Turning a gear-operated center column adjusts the height up to 76” making the tripod suitable for painting while sitting or standing. Aluminum legs telescope into each other with quick-release side levers. Painting sizes: 7” to 24”. Artist’s Shelf (01-40) height from ground: 36”. Weighs 3.75 lbs. and folds to 24.5”.  Additional Options of Traveling Adapter (02-04) and Artists Shelf (01-40).

Quick Release Platform.  An extra Quick Release Platform for the SunEden Artist Tripod (03-01).  This allows the Artist to leave the Traveling Adapter attached to the Quick Release Platform ... enabling faster tear-down and setup ... or quick interchange between the Traveling Adapter and a camera.   Included with the SunEden Tripod (03-01).
